Solo travellers
While the accommodation block is away from the main building some solo travellers prefer to be in the main building where staff are close to hand. Please indicate any preference when you book.

In line with UK legislation the Guest House and all rooms are non-smoking.

 

 

Guest rooms at Cricket Field House

We have been awarded 4 stars by the AA.
All rooms are warm and centrally heated. Windows can be open or closed to suit. Most of the rooms overlook the large garden or the cricket field opposite. None of the rooms suffer from traffic noise. Tastefully furnished in subtle Autumn shades and carpeted throughout, the rooms are relaxing and comfortable.

For guests arriving late we can provide sandwiches served in your room up to 8.30pm. Alternatively we can reserve a table for you in one of the local restaurants or pubs.
