What`s to do

Cricket Field House in Salisbury is the perfect base to explore the delights of Wiltshire, Hants and Dorset. It is centrally located and surrounded by some of the best countryside walks in the country.avon valley image  We can recommend The Avon Valley Path series of walks which stretch for some 34 miles. You can select which sections you might like to walk based on your experience and potential.
Some sections begin right in Salisbury. Why not stop along the way for lunch at one of the country inns that are sprinkled along the route. You can download the complete route by clicking the image above.

clarendon way imageThe Clarendon way walk is shorter than the Avon Valley Path. It runs from Salisbury to Winchester and is approx 24 miles.Once again you can break it up into manageable sections to suit your ability and experience. It begins at Salisbury Cathedral running East towards Winchester. Once again the walk is littered with quaint inns that can offer refreshments / lunches etc and a welcome break to families enjoying the delights of the countryside walks.
